USAir Express Dash 8

USAir Express DHC-8 landing at KPIT circa late 1990s

Known during the development process as the "Dash X" DHC's Dash 8 originated from late 1970s studies for an intermediate aircraft between the sizes of the Twin Otter and Dash 7.
