F/A-18F Super Hornet VFA-41 Black Aces
Following a final cruise with the F-14 Tomcat in late 2001 (which involved combat over Afghanistan following 9-11) VF-41 Black Aces transitioned to the FA-18F two-seat version of the Super Hornet, becoming VFA-41.
